Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store operates smoothly and provides exceptional service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Comply with company policies while upholding security and confidentiality standards
- Perform other assigned duties as required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior retail experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to operate cash register and store equipment
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties and following company policies
