Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, merchandise is stocked, and customers receive exceptional service. You will collaborate with team members to uphold our company standards and provide a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, assisting customers throughout their shopping journey.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Adhere to company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proficient in delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register accurately.
- Ability to use store equipment responsibly.
- Capable of maintaining cleanliness to company standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient in multitasking.
- Meet local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
