Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Collaborate with team members and management to uphold ALDI's high standards and provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Competencies in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Follow company policies while ensuring document security.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safely use equipment like a hand jack, floor scrubber, and baler.
- Execute general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently.
- Comply with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience considered.
