Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. You will collaborate with team members, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to the overall success of our store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with all company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties to company standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
