Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by providing exceptional service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management.
- Monitor inventory, adhere to cash policies, and uphold company procedures.
- Perform physical tasks like stocking shelves, lifting and carrying products.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or above.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently and within a team setting.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
