Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by maintaining merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness. Collaboration with team members and providing exceptional customer service are essential aspects of this position.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Keep track of inventory and report any issues or discrepancies.
• Follow cash handling policies and procedures to ensure security.
• Adhere to company policies and uphold document security.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Proficiency in customer service and cash register operations.
• Experience operating retail equipment.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness according to company standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Education and experience combination considered.
