Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction and upholding our commitment to outstanding service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers effectively.
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash-handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company procedures, maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register accurately.
- Ability to use equipment such as a hand jack, floor scrubber, and baler.
- Capable of meeting cleanliness standards and following company policies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in retail is a plus.
