Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a superior shopping experience for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team, providing outstanding customer service and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain a neat store appearance, and assist customers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to improve store operations
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
- Follow all company policies to uphold security and confidentiality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Maintain cleanliness following company standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask efficiently
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
