Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join ALDI, where you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Skill in operating equipment and performing cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is beneficial
