Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join ALDI's team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, cleaning, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Weekly Hours: 32-40 hours
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Skills in using store equipment and performing cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet state and local alcohol handling requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Combination of education and experience equivalent
