Job Description
Are you looking to kickstart your career in retail? ALDI is seeking a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
- Ensure inventory accuracy and participate in stock counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with company policies and uphold security measures
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
