Job Description

As a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a well-organized store environment. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and welcoming to customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Assist customers with their shopping experience, provide excellent customer service
• Stock shelves, merchandise displays neatly and maintain store cleanliness
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Report product feedback, inventory issues, and other concerns to management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Comply with company policies, maintain document security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely operate store equipment
• Basic cleaning duties and adherence to company standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Work independently and within a team
• Organized, attention to detail, ability to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Educational and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
