As the Manager, GCDO Business & Technology Capabilities, you will demonstrate a deep understanding of the Clinical Development process and the technologies that support it, involving digital systems primarily for Global Clinical Development Operations and other functions in R&D. Your role will focus on designing, developing, delivering, and supporting digital systems to drive operational excellence, optimize data quality, and enhance efficiencies in clinical trial operations. To excel in this position, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders across various functions, possess strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and technical proficiency in clinical digital systems/analytics.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the design, development, production, and delivery of digital systems for Global Clinical Development Operations to achieve operational excellence.
• Collaborate with key departments within R&D to implement and manage digital systems/technology.
• Deliver digital systems and Analytics/Reporting for GCDO, working closely with IS counterparts and other departments.
• Act as an expert advisor on technology and analytics/reporting solutions to enhance trial performance and continuous improvement.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies relevant to GCDO, aiding in their implementation when necessary.
• Maintain and review digital systems, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize utilization and propose new technologies.
• Work with vendors and solution providers to maximize system utilization, sharing knowledge and ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Lead cross-functional projects representing GCDO Business & Technology Capabilities.

Requirements

• Proficient in IT and digital systems, with experience in clinical technologies such as CTMS, eTMF, EDC, IRT, and operational and clinical data analytics.
• Extensive experience in clinical trials management and operations, including the design and programming of clinical technologies and analytics.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms and programming capabilities like Tableau, SQL, SAS, and Python.
• Knowledge of FDA/ICH guidelines, GxP, and industry compliance standards.
• Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and lead cross-functional initiatives effectively.

Educational Qualifications

• BA/BS in healthcare, science, or technology fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical technology within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.
• Understanding of FDA guidance documents and regulations related to clinical trial data management.
