Oncology Account Manager (Lehigh Valley)
Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Oncology Account Manager to promote the company's products and establish strong business relationships with specialists in the oncology field. As part of the commercial team, the Oncology Account Manager will be responsible for implementing marketing strategies, achieving sales targets, and representing Jazz Pharmaceuticals at various events and meetings.
Responsibilities
- Promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals' Adult Oncology products to healthcare providers in designated areas.
- Educate healthcare professionals on product indications and benefits.
- Achieve sales forecasts and targets.
- Organize and facilitate medical exchange meetings.
- Analyze territory trends and collaborate with Technical Staff to increase product revenue.
- Develop and implement business plans for the assigned territory.
- Establish strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Support the overall sales strategy and maintain compliance with legal/regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Prior experience in Oncology sales preferred.
- Strong knowledge of oncology products and disease states.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Post-graduate business training.
- 5 years of pharmaceutical specialty sales or 3 years of straight Oncology sales experience.
- Experience in Hematology, Solid Tumor, AML, or Lung Cancer sales highly desired.
- Knowledge of Community Oncology practices.
- Key Account management experience preferred.
