Payer Account Executive, National - Medicaid (Remote)

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Payer Account Executive, National - Medicaid to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to transforming the lives of patients. As the National Payer Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with assigned Fee for Service and Managed Medicaid accounts, ensuring market access for Jazz's portfolio of products. You will collaborate with internal teams, leverage relationships within target payers, and lead initiatives to optimize reimbursement support services. The position offers the opportunity to drive market access strategies, negotiate rebate agreements, and contribute to brand strategy development.

Responsibilities

• Execute market access strategies for Medicaid accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with key individuals in target payers.
• Coordinate activities and resources with payers.
• Collaborate internally to implement Market Access Strategy.
• Negotiate rebate agreements and ensure compliance.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of pharma/biopharmaceutical experience.
• Proven success as an Account Manager targeting Medicaid.
• Experience leading cross-organizational projects.
• Proficiency in healthcare, coverage, and reimbursement issues.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree required (MBA, JD, or PharmD preferred).
• Experience with specialty products and rare diseases.
• Clinical knowledge in relevant therapeutic areas.
• Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
