Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) - In Person Event 5/13

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join ChristianaCare's HomeHealth team. In this role, you will provide expert care to medically fragile patients in the comfort of their homes. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, coordinating care with healthcare providers, and building positive relationships with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert care to medically fragile pediatric and/or adult patients.
• Coordinate care with families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Build positive relationships through compassionate and courteous service.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments as ordered.

Requirements

• DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Ability to attend a two-week daytime orientation in the Camden office followed by patient field orientation.
• Previous experience in home health or long-term care is a plus.
• Preferably experienced with tracheostomy and ventilator care.
