Job Description
Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Specialty Sales Consultant for the Indiana North territory within the Neuroscience Unit. As a vital part of the commercial team, the Specialty Sales Consultant will be responsible for promoting Jazz Pharmaceuticals' products, building and managing relationships with healthcare specialists, and implementing marketing strategies to achieve objectives.
Responsibilities
- Educate healthcare professionals about Jazz Pharmaceuticals' products and indications.
- Achieve individual sales goals and Key Performance Indicators.
- Organize meetings to exchange medical and product information in compliance with regulations.
- Analyze territory business to understand prescribing processes and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet healthcare professionals' needs.
- Present a positive image of Jazz Pharmaceuticals and ensure activities align with ethical marketing practices.
- Comply with legal and regulatory guidelines throughout all activities.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Specialist sales experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of products, competitors, and disease states.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to excel in a team environment.
Education and Licenses
- Four-year college/university degree required.
- Post-graduate business school study or training preferred.
Physical Demands
- Frequent travel between sites and extended drive times.
- Operating various office equipment and carrying materials during sales calls.
Work Environment
