Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store environment is clean and organized. Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays
- Assist customers with shopping, collaborate with team members, report feedback to management
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
