Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a crucial member of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store remains clean and well-maintained. Your role will involve collaborating with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance the overall shopping experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related matters.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and various equipment.
- Capability to maintain cleanliness to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is beneficial.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
