Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's retail team. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, collaborating with team members, and assisting in various store operations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their store experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Ability to perform cleaning duties and follow company policies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
