Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store operates smoothly and our customers receive exceptional service. This full-time position offers 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize shelves
• Deliver outstanding customer service and support a positive shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Provide feedback on products, monitor inventory, and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow all company procedures, including security and confidentiality protocols
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Adequate physical ability to handle merchandise and perform cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Capability to work independently and in a team setting
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred
• Balance of education and experience for the role
