Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a full-time team member, you will be responsible for various in-store duties, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining data security.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
