Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly and provide exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core values and competencies in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and assist customers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products and inventory.
- Conduct store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to maintain cleanliness and follow company standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Previous retail experience is an advantage.
- A combination of education and experience relevant to the role.
