Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store maintains a clean and organized environment while providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as required
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies, maintain security, and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of meeting physical demands of the job
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is advantageous
