Job Description
We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Type
Full-Time, 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage
$17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses
- Comply with company policies and ensure document security
Physical Demands
Ability to stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform various physical tasks
Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Customer service skills
- Cash register operation proficiency
- Ability to use store equipment
- Communication skills and attention to detail
- Capability to work independently and in a team
- Meet alcohol handling requirements
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, retail experience is a plus
