Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Vice President, Late Development Team Lead, Oncology to play a critical role in managing the late product lifecycle of pharmaceutical products. This position entails establishing and executing global product strategies, integrating scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial aspects to ensure successful product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Late Development Teams (LDTs) from proof of concept to product approval.
• Develop and communicate product vision and strategy, aligning with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with functional teams to identify global development opportunities balancing risk and value.
• Drive team accountability and effectiveness, ensuring clear roles and expectations.
• Provide strategic guidance to functional matrix teams and mentor team members.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Engage with senior leaders to optimize product value and present development strategies.
• Contribute to disease area assessments and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• 15+ years of global drug development experience in pharma/biotech.
• Successful track record in strategic leadership and program delivery.
• Prior experience in late-phase oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead alliances, collaborations, and relationships effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
