We are looking for a highly skilled VP, Late Development Team Lead in the Oncology field to join our innovative team at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. This critical role involves leading our Late Development Team in establishing and executing a global product strategy, integrating scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial input to advance products from proof of concept to approval. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, scientific expertise, and the ability to balance innovation and speed in late-stage drug development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional Late Development Teams from proof of concept to product approval.
  • Develop a comprehensive vision and strategy for products in alignment with Jazz's mission.
  • Collaborate with key functions to identify strategic development opportunities.
  • Provide strategic guidance to functional matrix teams, ensuring seamless execution of development plans.
  • Oversee project budget, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Engage with organizational leaders to optimize product strategy and value.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of global drug development experience in pharma/biotech industry.
  • Proven track record in leading late-stage drug development programs.
  • Experience in Solid Tumor Oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
