Job Description
JBI Helicopter Services is currently seeking a skilled Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic to join our team in Abbeville, LA. This full-time position involves maintaining and servicing helicopters, as well as providing ground support services for a variety of company operations. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, adaptable, and customer-focused.
Requirements
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic License - REQUIRED
- High School Diploma/GED
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 3 years of helicopter maintenance experience
- Ability to work on knees, lift 70lbs, and bend/crouch/reach overhead
- Must have own tools and be willing to relocate within a 1-hour commute of Abbeville, LA
Preferred Experience
- IA, Sheet Metal, and Avionics Experience
- Bell Helicopter products experience (206B, 206-L, 407, 429, MD 500)
- Factory training and CDL
