Job Description
Discover Financial Services is looking for a talented Application Engineer (Full Stack) to join their Collections Value Stream team. This role involves working on Agile teams to build and enhance consumer-centric systems, specifically focusing on modernizing the Probate and Bankruptcy platform. Responsibilities
- Contribute to product team deliverables using Java programming technology.
- Diagnose opportunities for automation and efficiency in product delivery.
- Solve complex technical problems and explore innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements.
- Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new features with high quality.
- Lead technology communities at Discover.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or Software Engineering.
- Technical proficiency rating of competent on the Dreyfus engineering scale (for internal applicants).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, React, and Angular.
- Knowledge of Cloud Technology such as AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, and OpenShift.
- Expertise in CI/CD Pipeline tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, Chef, and Ansible.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, Kafka, Openshift and Jenkins.

Compensation
This position offers a base pay ranging from $86,500.00 to $146,100.00 along with additional incentives.
