Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services, a top digital banking and payments company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of assigned Corporate Risk Management Problems, identifying root causes, minimizing future impacts, and working collaboratively with various teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle and coordination of actions to resolve assigned Problems.
  • Ensure root cause analysis, coordinate actions, and implement controls/preventative measures.
  • Maintain service level agreements and document problem progress in ServiceNow.
  • Identify and propose process improvements and mentor Service Support Specialists if assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in relevant fields or 4+ years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields, 1+ years of risk management or people management experience.
