Billing & A/R Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Billing & A/R Specialist to join our team at OnPoint Medical Group. In this role, you will be responsible for full revenue cycle duties, including submitting clean claims, verifying payments, and managing accounts receivable. Additionally, you will handle patient inquiries and work towards achieving productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable including working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to process claims.
• Review and appeal unpaid and denied claims.
• Run reports and follow best practices for claim processing.
• Answer patient billing inquiries.
• Maintain productivity goals and A/R timelines.
• Adhere to billing compliance guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of healthcare experience and 2+ years of billing experience.
• Strong computer skills.
• Preferred: Some college education, bilingual, EMR experience, or certification in billing/coding.
