Job Description
As a Delivery Driver at Schilling Graphics Inc., you will be responsible for safely operating a non-CDL company delivery truck to transport products to and from customers. Your duties will include loading and unloading items, documenting deliveries, and adhering to department schedules and procedures. You will be the face of the company during customer interactions, maintaining customer relationships and ensuring timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Drive the company delivery truck on a designated route and schedule.
- Deliver and retrieve items as instructed, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Load and unload the vehicle safely.
- Document and log delivery information using company software.
- Comply with Department of Transportation regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both inside the truck and at individual workspaces.
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent service.
- Participate in training sessions and follow best work quality and safety practices.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class D driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work independently.
- Minimum age of 21 and successful completion of DOT physical.
- Previous trucking or driving experience.
- Proficiency in operating related equipment and basic computer skills.
