Position Summary
The Charge Nurse (RN) will deliver high-quality care within the scope of practice for Registered Nurses, while assuming supervisory responsibilities. This role advocates for patients, promotes best nursing practices, and ensures a safe healthcare environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Registered Nurse license in state of employment.
- Active CPR certification.
- Knowledge of state laws and regulations.
- Acute care experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure quality care.
- Participate in recruitment and training of new personnel.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Oversee nursing care techniques and emergency medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
- Assess patient conditions and communicate with physicians.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
