Job Description

We are hiring for the position of Relationship Banker I, Bilingual at Field & Main Bank. This role falls under the Retail Department and reports to the Assistant Banking Center Manager. The position is full-time, 40 hours a week, with a Saturday rotation required.

Summary

The Relationship Banker I provides cash receipt and payment services to customers, familiarizing them with bank products and services for appropriate referrals. The role requires fluency in both English and Spanish for effective translation and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Translate and interpret statements between English and Spanish.
• Handle and manage currency accurately.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions.
• Identify counterfeit currency and validate customer information.
• Promote and cross-sell bank products and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Customer Service and cash handling experience.
• Familiarity with basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to fluently communicate in English and Spanish.

Work Environment Requirements: Work takes place in an open office setting; standing for long periods and lifting items up to 25-70 lbs may be required.
