Summary: The Violence Intervention Mental Health Professional will provide therapy to program participants, engage with community members, provide CBT training, and offer mental health services to individuals and families in need.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage community members and provide CBT training
  • Outreach to non-fatal shooting victims and engage with Hospital Based Violence Programs
  • Collaborate with APM directors to design plans for young people engagement
  • Train parents in Evidence Based Parenting programs
  • Provide direct therapeutic services to individuals and families
  • Document clinical progress and maintain accurate records

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in a clinical mental health discipline
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
  • Proficiency in DAP documentation and Microsoft Word
  • Experience in facilitating psychotherapeutic and educational groups
  • Strong communication skills and regulatory compliance
  • Training in an Evidence Based Practice recognized by CBH
