Surgical Assistant

Job Description

Oklahoma Dental Implants & Oral Surgery, an elite oral surgery practice, is seeking a Surgical Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate team player dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and assisting surgeons during procedures.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative and postoperative duties to ensure patient comfort.
• Assist surgeons during surgery by performing tasks such as tissue retraction and intravenous lines.
• Maintain aseptic technique and ensure the availability of necessary equipment.
• Obtain dental radiographs, sterile supplies, and complete patient clinical narratives.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required; DAANCE certification preferred.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and medical terminology understanding.

• Ability to work well in a team and individually.
