Scope/Purpose of the Position

The Production Trainer collaborates with production to train associates for various production roles. This includes machine operators, line conductors, and packaging operators. The trainer plays a critical role in onboarding new employees and conducts training evaluations as necessary.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Acclimate new hires to onboarding stages.
• Identify ways to enhance the training program and provide feedback.
• Communicate with supervisors for daily training assignments.
• Evaluate training needs and effectiveness.
• Ensure efficient training to meet productivity goals.
• Follow training program guidelines for all positions.
• Participate in safety processes and activities.

Job Qualification Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of lean manufacturing or training experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge in HACCP and SQF.
• Understanding of safe work practices and regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Physical dexterity and good vision abilities.
