Senior Mortgage Lender

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Mortgage Lender to join Civista Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for originating first mortgage loans, promoting the bank's lending services to the real estate community, and addressing the financial needs of the community. Your work will involve engaging with referral partners, meeting customers, and ensuring compliance with regulations and bank policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to solicit first mortgage and home equity loans through referral partners.
• Meet with customers and complete loan applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained.
• Screen and propose various loan options to clients.
• Stay informed about new legislation and regulations affecting residential lending policies.
• Communicate loan approvals or denials and promote the bank's credit programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Mortgage Lending experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance preferred.
• Knowledge of banking practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong computer literacy and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
