Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join ALDI as a Store Management Trainee. As part of this role, you will be immersed in all aspects of store operations, learning and developing the skills necessary to manage your own store successfully. From supervising daily activities to mentoring the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and overall store performance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily store operations and team performance to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Communicate and uphold company values to foster teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Manage staffing, schedules, and operational plans effectively.
  • Ensure store signage, product quality, and stock levels are maintained to ALDI standards.
  • Lead hiring, training, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Monitor budgets, cash audits, and inventory to achieve store goals.
  • Create a safe and organized in-store environment for all stakeholders.
  • Travel to multiple locations for training as required.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older to be employed at ALDI.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial abilities.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying company policies.
  • Prior retail experience, with management experience preferred.
