Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the Aldi team. As a key member in our store, you will be responsible for a range of duties including cashiering, stocking shelves, maintaining the store's appearance, and providing top-notch customer service. Collaborating with the ALDI team, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Type
Full-Time, 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage
$18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock merchandise, and maintain neat displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring document security
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Efficient and accurate cash handling skills
- Proficiency in operating equipment and performing cleaning tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Compliance with state and local requirements for the sale of alcohol
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
