Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain document security.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
- Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is an advantage.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
