Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, Professional Skills) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies while ensuring the security and confidentiality of documents.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work both independently and within a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in a retail environment is an advantage.
