Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with team members, operate the cash register, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to an excellent shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Communicate effectively with the team and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow company policies with regard to security and data confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of meeting physical demands and cleaning standards.
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Compliance with local regulations for alcohol sales, where applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
