Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Your role will involve working collaboratively with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain tidy merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with established policies while maintaining document security
- Perform other assigned duties as required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe use of equipment and tools in the store
- Capability to perform general cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow instructions
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
