Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to ensure minimal losses
- Comply with company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently
- Capable of safely using store equipment and performing general cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
