Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. By working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will enhance the shopping experience for our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate openly with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and general store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in monitoring stock levels.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures to maintain store security.
- Follow established company policies while safeguarding sensitive information.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to conduct general cleaning tasks according to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is an advantage.
- Combination of education and experience offering equivalent knowledge.
