Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse looking for a rewarding opportunity to provide one-on-one care to patients in the home health setting? ChristianaCare is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our HomeHealth team. In this role, you will have the chance to deliver expert care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, assisting with a wide range of medical needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to medically fragile patients.
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
- Build positive relationships with patients through compassionate and courteous service.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend a two-week orientation followed by patient field training.
- Prior experience in home health or Long Term Care is advantageous.
- Preference for candidates with tracheostomy and ventilator experience.
