Job Description
Join ALDI as a Store Operations Assistant and play a key role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers. As a vital member of the team, you will contribute to merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness, ensuring that ALDI's high standards are consistently met. You will collaborate with colleagues and management to provide top-notch customer service and contribute to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to enhance store performance.
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
- Adhere to company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform general cleaning duties as needed.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Proficient in customer service and cash register operation.
- Able to operate store equipment and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
- Familiarity with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma preferred. Prior retail experience beneficial.
