Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. In this role, you will assist in various in-store tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Job Type

Full-Time (32-40 hours per week)

Starting Wage

$17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and collaborate with team members
• Report product issues, inventory discrepancies, and suggestions to management
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
• Follow company procedures and maintain confidentiality of information
• Perform general cleaning duties and handle merchandise

Physical Demands

• Stock and place products on shelves, weighing up to 45 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and walk around the store

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
• Capable of operating equipment and following company policies
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience is a plus
