1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operation plays a crucial role in ensuring that our products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our growing customer base. As a part-time position with opportunities for growth, this role involves working in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas to fulfill orders and maintain warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect and report on product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Work independently within delegated responsibilities and assist in achieving goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and notify management of any issues.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently within company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically able to lift and move up to 45 pounds, operate equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
